Wise Staffing is Hiring a CNC Lathe Operator Near Chattanooga, TN
Role and Responsibilities :
- Setup and Operation : Handle the setup and operation of CNC lathe and chamfering equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work orders, and instructions from supervisors.
- Inspection : Constantly monitor and inspect materials at different stages of production.
- Communication and Collaboration : Work closely with fellow employees to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Maintenance : Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area regularly.
- Record Keeping : Maintain necessary records according to SOPs and work instructions.
- Quality Assurance : Test samples and conduct 1st piece and final inspections, reporting any non-conformances.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and understand the environmental policies in line with the ISO 140001 standard.
- Physical Demands : Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
